Business Developer - BILA

BILA A/S is expanding its presence in the US with its automated trucks product line, Global AGV, and is looking for an ambitious and self-driven Business Developer with a “hunter” mentality to join the North American team. In this role, your responsibility will be to support the organization’s sales strategy by building long-lasting partner relationships with dealers throughout Texas.
BILA A/S is a professional automation company offering production optimization utilizing automation solutions, typically using industrial robots. Being a full-line service provider of consulting, design, development, implementation, and subsequent service of robotic facilities, BILA A/S has supplied more than 5,000 automation solutions to various industries in the European and US markets.
As Business Developer you will be responsible for selling intelligent, automated trucks for palletizing, specifically AGVs known as Global AGV. Your focus will be to generate new sales opportunities and together with your colleagues establish successful and long-lasting partnerships with dealers of AGVs throughout your territory. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience selling technical products within automation through distribution channels, preferably from an international environment, and will have a strong passion for generating new business and expanding territories.
Key Responsibilities
The focus of the Business Developer will be to develop and create new sales opportunities for AGV products and solutions for BILA A/S through partnerships and dealer networks, thereby contributing to the overall sales and growth of the organization in the US.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Aggressively prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities to build and establish a strong dealer network of AGVs in the given territory
- Drive the negotiation of dealer agreements to secure a smooth and optimized sales process
- Drive the sales pipeline through the sales funnel
- Work directly with partners and end customers to discuss and understand their needs
- Coach and build close collaboration with existing partners leading to sales of AGVs
- Ensure commercial partner training, on-site and in-office, to support the dealers in reaching their sales goals
- Secure that sales and marketing activities are initiated in close collaboration with dealers and BILA’s internal marketing team
- Actively pursue all generated leads, establish contact, and qualify leads, ultimately turning them into new business
- Collaborate with the R&D department to ensure high-quality partner and end-customer support at all times
- Support dealers in the onboarding of demo AGVs at dealers’ showrooms and during the first AGV installations at the end customer’s location
- Carry out administrative tasks related to sales activities such as quoting and ensuring that customer information is up to date in the CRM system
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in business development and/or sales
- Documented experience in generating new sales by establishing and growing strong distribution networks
- Experience with technical sales of equipment
- Solid experience with value-based sales focused on building the customer’s business case
- Solid experience with c-level sales with the capability to identify and communicate with decision-makers in an organization
- Proactive with a “go-getter” mentality, persistently pursuing new sales opportunities in a competitive marketplace
- Ability to travel and meet with potential customers as needed on-site or at our demo facilities in Wisconsin

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package
