MyDefence is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a customer-oriented Program Manager for our office in Oklahoma City. Our products are utilized by civilian, governmental, and military users across hand-held, vehicle, and facility-wide applications to counteract malicious drone usage. We deliver highly efficient and complex RF sensors and RF jammers using advanced proprietary algorithms.

As the Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical projects on time and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact for defense contractors, government agencies and internal teams, guiding the program from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have solid experience from a similar position in the defense industry, understanding defense industry standards, government contracts and program management methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with leadership and risk management skills are essential for success.

You will report directly to the Development Director based at the MyDefence headquarters in Denmark.

Key Responsibilities
As Program Manager at MyDefence, your overall responsibility will be to lead and manage a wide range of projects with both internal and external customers and stakeholders. Your responsibilities include:

• Lead and execute defense programs from planning through delivery, managing scope, timelines, budgets and resources
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors and internal teams
• Develop and implement program strategies that align with company goals
• Oversee the execution of multiple projects within the program
• Manage program risks, ensuring compliance with defense regulations
• Provide clear, regular program progress and risks to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
• Maintain detailed documentation of all program activities, changes and decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a similar field
  PMP certification is a plus
• 5+ years of project or program management experience in the defense industry
• Deep understanding of government contracts, procurement processes and defense regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
