As part of a global network with 5,000 employees from 75 nationalities across 23 countries, we specialize in sustainable energy solutions, offering expertise in well delivery and management, projects, engineering and construction, commissioning and start-up, operations, maintenance and asset integrity.

We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to play a key role in strengthening our financial operations and subsidiary cost controlling. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing entity, optimize financial processes and shape the future of our finance team in Denmark.

This role offers a hybrid work setting with 2-3 days at the office in Esbjerg per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and manage supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with purchase orders (POs).
• Resolve invoice disputes within 96 hours and follow up with decision-makers.
• Ensure timely payments and adherence to SPIE’s financial policies.
• Create and follow up on customer invoices, supporting cash collection.
• Assist with financial statements, budgets and month- and year-end closing processes.
• Provide cost analysis and reporting to support financial decision-making.
• Support procurement and payroll teams as needed.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Oil & Gas or New Energy.
• Strong ERP experience (IFS software preferred).
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Danish.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to optimize financial workflows.
