Sales Manager, Poultry, Egg Layer Segment

Headquartered in Denmark, SKOV is a global leader in climate and farm management technology. To support SKOV’s expansion in the United States, we are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager with expertise in the poultry industry, specifically within the egg layer segment.
In this role, you will be instrumental in growing SKOV’s presence in the North American poultry market, in particular the free-range egg layer market, where SKOV offers innovative and specialized systems and solutions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about building strong relationships with customers, dealers and key industry stakeholders—ultimately driving sales of advanced climate control solutions contributing to the continued growth of the US organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow SKOV’s presence in the poultry layer sector.
- Build and grow relationships with dealers, partners and customers.
- Provide expert consultation, sales support and after-sales service.
- Stay updated on technological advancements in the poultry sector, specifically egg laying.
- Identify and engage key accounts to establish long-term partnerships.
- Conduct dealer training and support exhibitions, trade shows and industry events.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director and the teams in North America and Denmark to develop tailored solutions for customers.
- Provide market insights and feedback to SKOV headquarters to improve product offerings.
What We Are Looking For
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in poultry farming, egg production or related technology.
- Sales Expertise: Proven ability to generate leads, close deals and grow market share.
- Technical Understanding: Knowledge of agricultural technology and systems.
- Relationship Builder: Strong networking and negotiation skills with decision-makers.
- Self-Driven: Goal-oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience from the poultry industry.
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation.
- Background in agriculture, engineering or commercial sales.
- Strong project management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively, up to 60% within the US (Midwest & Northeast) and occasionally internationally.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation: Competitive compensation and benefits package
Travel: Approx. 50-60%
