Team Manager, Power Systems

Head Energy Denmark Consulting A/S is looking for a Team Manager to lead the company’s newly shaped Power Systems team. In an industry defined by innovation in renewable energy production and power solutions, you will drive development of the new Power Systems team to excel in the green transition.

You will drive the strategic and commercial development of the Power Systems unit, with a focus on renewable energy – particularly offshore, but also onshore and Power-to-X. Rather than traditional line management, this role emphasizes business creation: identifying opportunities, shaping technical offerings and engaging with clients to build a strong market presence.
The role can be based out of Esbjerg, Horsens, Odense or Copenhagen. The role reports directly to the Head of Consulting.
Key Responsibilities
As Team Manager with a foundation in the green energy sector, you will help position Head Energy at the forefront of the green transition in Denmark.
Your responsibilities include:
- Driving the development and future success of the Power Systems team
- Taking full responsibility for the Power Systems segment, ensuring projects and solid workforce engagement
- Working closely with management on commercial and sales strategies to fuel the shared growth of the company
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector, focusing on client engagement and market positioning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of demonstrated leadership and team-building experience in the HV/MV/LV sectors
- Experience from the consulting industry
- Experience with renewable energy production (offshore, onshore and/or Power-to-X)
- Proven ability to drive and manage business performance within Power Systems segment or similar
- Knowledge of BESS or similar solutions is a plus
- Great communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
