Sales Engineer

Landia has been innovating pump and mixer solutions since 1933 — and they are just getting started. As they continue to grow their anaerobic digestion/biogas business in the U.S., they are looking for a Sales Engineer to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety: you will get to apply technical knowledge, solve customer problems, manage project details and contribute to the renewable energy sector every single day.
What You Will Do:
- Act as the go-to technical expert for biogas customer projects across the U.S.
- Size and specify pumps, mixers and custom-engineered solutions
- Prepare and coordinate technical documentation and submittals
- Communicate with customers throughout the pre-sale and post-sale process
- Collaborate with our sales and engineering teams on proposals, orders, drawings, and custom builds
- Ensure a smooth handoff to the aftermarket team after installation
What You Bring:
- 5-7 years of experience in technical sales, project engineering or applications engineering
- Familiarity with AD/biogas, wastewater or process equipment (pumps, mixers, rotating equipment, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated and a “team player attitude
- Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects
- Experience with technical documentation, CAD drawings or customer submittals
- Strong detail orientation—this role requires high accuracy and thorough follow-through
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- ERP familiarity (Navision a plus)
- Excellent communication skills; ability to liaise between customers, engineers and production teams
- Desire to work in a small, cross-functional technical team
Bonus If You Have:
- Mechanical or similar engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Trade show or industry event experience
- A background in agricultural or industrial biogas applications
