Commercial Sales Director, North America

Muehlhan Wind Service (MWS) is looking for an experienced Commercial Sales Director to head the commercial activities in North America. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, securing new projects, and building strong client relationships in the USA and Canada. You will play a key part in standardizing and optimizing sales processes while ensuring alignment with global sales strategies and operational capabilities.
You will drive the North American sales activities and grow the overall sales department. The ideal candidate will have a strong network and experience from a similar position in the wind energy industry. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is self-driven and thrives in a dynamic, international environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize sales and tender processes for the North American market, ensuring alignment with global standards and procedures.
- Develop and expand the North American sales organization to support all MWS divisions and business units in the region.
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for key customers, representing Muehlhan Wind Service across North America.
- Implement and enhance our global CRM system (MS Dynamics CRM) to improve customer relationship management and streamline the tender process.
- Oversee tender engineering, including advanced budgeting, cost estimation and financial modeling.
- Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and operational teams to ensure strategic alignment, market focus and identification of preferred projects that match our capabilities.
- Ensure global alignment on market focus, customer strategies and related business development initiatives.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a commercial leader in the wind energy industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams, influencing senior stakeholders and aligning commercial goals with operational delivery.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to represent Muehlhan as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Financial fluency, including experience with project budgeting, tender cost estimation and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience building and leading sales organizations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, analytical rigor and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

Location & Travel
- This role can be based in either Dallas, TX or Oklahoma City, OK.
- Regular travel between locations is expected.
- Up to 20% travel.
