Logistics Lead
As part of the continued growth of Jupiter Bach Assembly Services, Jupiter Bach Assembly Services is seeking a dedicated and operationally focused Logistics Lead to build and strengthen the logistics and ERP setup supporting the assembly business.
The Logistics Lead plays a key role in establishing robust and scalable logistics processes to support the expanding assembly business. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Jupiter Bach Assembly Services, the role is central in building a strong system and process foundation while remaining closely involved in day-to-day operations.
This position offers a unique opportunity to actively shape and develop an evolving business, contributing hands-on to operational excellence and long-term growth within an organization with a strong outlook.
The role is based in Holstebro and includes a flexible setup with two days per week at the office.
Key Responsibilities
Define and establish the end-to-end logistics setup and process landscape supporting the assembly business
Design and implement ERP structures and processes covering material flow, manufacturing, warehouse operations, quality, and financial interfaces related to assembly activities
Define and align the planning setup across internal manufacturing units, external suppliers, and outbound logistics flows
Drive and facilitate both short- and long-term operational planning processes, ensuring optimized material flows to and from assembly locations, including inventory management and MRP
Act as the primary interface to the Procurement team regarding commodity sourcing
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of proven experience within manufacturing logistics, preferably including responsibility for coordinating or driving operational activities (formal team management experience is not a requirement)
Experience from the wind turbine industry or other complex industrial manufacturing environments is considered an advantage
Solid understanding of logistics and planning principles in a production environment, including continuous improvement and site-level operational processes
Hands-on operational experience with ERP and planning tools, including process definition, implementation, and daily system usage
The role involves some travel activity to assembly and manufacturing sites globally.
