Commercial Director, Poland
MyDefence is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Director to lead business development and revenue growth activities in Poland, supporting the expansion of its counter-drone and defence technology solutions across defence, government and commercial sectors.
The Commercial Director plays a central role in identifying, shaping and securing new business opportunities while building strong relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders across the Polish market. Reporting directly to the Country Director, Poland, the role is responsible for driving commercial campaigns, leading proposal activities and supporting strategic market expansion initiatives.

The role is based in Poland and involves regular travel within the country and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across B2B and B2G markets
Drive the end-to-end opportunity lifecycle, from initial lead identification to contract award
Maintain strong market awareness to stay ahead of emerging threats, technologies and competitive dynamics
Build and sustain trusted relationships with stakeholders across the Ministry of Defence, Government Departments, integrators, industry partners and commercial clients
Manage partner networks to expand market reach, maximize access and strengthen opportunity pipelines
Engage customers at all organizational levels to understand requirements and align them with MyDefence solutions
Lead the development of bids, proposals and commercial framework applications
Coordinate inputs from product development, R&D, operations and marketing teams to deliver compelling and compliant proposals
Support contract negotiations while ensuring alignment with company objectives and commercial priorities
Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM updates and pipeline reporting to support strategic planning and decision-making
Track progress against KPIs, revenue targets and commercial objectives, taking corrective action where required
Conduct system demonstrations, presentations and briefings for a broad range of audiences
Represent MyDefence at industry events, conferences and exhibitions in Poland and internationally
Collaborate closely with marketing teams to support campaigns, collateral development and promotional activities
The Commercial Director will work as a key member of the Polish organization while collaborating closely with colleagues in Denmark across sales, R&D, operations, engineering and marketing to ensure aligned customer engagement and successful commercial execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering or another relevant discipline
Several years of successful experience within commercial, sales or business development roles in defence, security, technology or engineering industries
Proven track record working with the Polish Ministry of Defence, government organizations or regulated markets is highly desirable
Experience managing B2B and B2G sales cycles, including proposal management and contract negotiations
Well-established network within defence, security or technology sectors is considered an advantage
Highly motivated, organized and capable of working independently or as part of a small team
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
Commercially focused, target-driven and committed to continuous improvement
Adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Comfortable working across cultures and time zones
Security Clearance
Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain security clearance
Additional vetting may be required depending on customer or project requirements
