Customer Solutions Engineer, Mechanical
Build strong technical customer relationships and turn deep understanding of their needs into future system solutions.
Jupiter Bach is taking the next step in its development as a partner to the global wind industry. Building on our strong position within composite manufacturing, we are expanding our capabilities across engineering, assembly and full-system delivery, supporting leading wind OEMs globally.
This means getting involved earlier in the customer dialogue and taking greater ownership of how customer requirements translate into technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
As our new Customer Solutions Engineer, Mechanical, you will be an important part of that development.
The opportunity
You will work at the intersection of customers, Sales and Engineering, shaping mechanical solutions from early customer engagement through to handover to Project Execution.
Your role is to understand the customer need, challenge and clarify requirements, and apply your mechanical engineering expertise to develop the right solution. Working closely with customer technical teams and specialists within Jupiter Bach, you will drive the technical dialogue and pre-project activities while considering both engineering feasibility and commercial implications.
This is a role for an engineer who wants to use technical depth beyond the traditional engineering function. You will be close to the customer, influence solutions at an early stage and help create a strong foundation for successful engineering and execution.
What you will work with
You will take responsibility for the technical side of customer opportunities during pre-sales and early project phases.
A key part of the role will be to:
Act as the technical interface towards customers during pre-sales and early project phases
Translate customer requirements into feasible mechanical engineering solutions
Apply your understanding of mechanical design, components and manufacturing to solution development
Support Sales in customer meetings, proposals and negotiations
Drive pre-project activities and technical alignment between customers and internal specialists
Prepare and validate technical cost calculations and provide input to pricing decisions
Assess engineering changes and their technical and commercial impact
Support customer claims through root cause analysis and corrective actions
Work within PPAP and APQP4Wind processes to ensure quality and robustness
You will be part of a growing team that combines different technical competencies with ownership of specific customers and opportunities.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an engineer with strong mechanical expertise who is motivated by applying that knowledge in a customer- and solution-oriented role.
You understand how mechanical products and components move from requirements and design through manufacturing and into serial production. Just as importantly, you can communicate your technical knowledge and work effectively with customers, engineers, manufacturing specialists and commercial colleagues.
We expect you to bring:
An engineering background in Mechanical, Structural, Manufacturing or another relevant engineering discipline
Practical experience with mechanical design and CAD
Experience designing components and solutions for industrial manufacturing
Relevant experience from the wind industry or another technically complex manufacturing environment
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering interfaces
The ability to balance technical, operational and commercial considerations
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Professional fluency in English
Experience with PPAP and APQP4Wind is an advantage. Danish language skills are an advantage but not a requirement.
Why Jupiter Bach?
Jupiter Bach is expanding from a strong composite manufacturing base towards broader engineering and full-system capabilities.
For an experienced mechanical engineer, this creates an opportunity to move closer to the customer and influence solutions much earlier in the process.
You will join an international organisation working with leading wind OEMs and have the opportunity to contribute directly to how Jupiter Bach develops its future engineering and customer solution capabilities.
