The scope of work is typically engineering, modelling, supply and delivery of cable management systems for large scale energy infrastructures such as offshore substations, wind turbines, foundations/TPs, new types of green energy facilities, oil and gas facilities as well as shipbuilding.
About the Role
As Bid & Proposal Manager at Øglænd System, you will join the Offshore Projects team. This is a key role bridging legal, commercial and technical topics and mitigating risk exposure ensuring contractual compliance and supporting successful project delivery from acquisition through execution. You will work with the bid team from point of Invitation to tender over negotiations and to contract management support to the project team during execution of the works.
Key Responsibilities
Review, negotiate and manage complex contracts with clients and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks proactively.
Work with claim management and support the project manager with change management.
Lead preparation of bids and proposals for offshore projects in collaboration with sales and engineering teams.
Analyze tender and contract documents, define scope and prepare commercial and contractual strategies and deviations.
Coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver competitive and compliant proposals.
Act as a contractual advisor during project execution, supporting the Project Execution Manager.
Manage change orders, claims and variations in alignment with contract terms.
Provide guidance on contractual issues to project teams.
Qualifications
Degree in Law, Business, Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in contract management within large-scale industrial or offshore projects.
Strong understanding of technical/engineering concepts to interface effectively with project teams.
Experience in bid and proposal preparation for complex projects.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Fluent in English (Danish is a plus).
About You
You will be working in the span between legal, commercial and technical sides of the project, meaning that you need to have a good understanding of contracts, but also of the commercial and technical risks and activities of the project to support the Project Execution manager and the project team in a pro-active way and pragmatic way.
