Product Lifecycle Management Lead
Shape the product data landscape for Jupiter Bach’s next stage of growth
Jupiter Bach is taking the next step in its development as a partner to the global wind industry. Building on our strong position within composite manufacturing, we are expanding our capabilities across engineering, assembly and full-system delivery, supporting leading wind OEMs.
This development requires a stronger and more integrated approach to how product data, documentation and technical systems are structured and connected across our global organisation.
As our new Product Lifecycle Management Lead, you will take ownership of that development.
The opportunity
You will lead the development of Jupiter Bach’s future PLM setup, creating the structures, governance and processes needed to support a more integrated engineering and manufacturing organisation.
Your role is to understand the current product data and system landscape, define the future direction and turn it into a practical roadmap. Working across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and IT, you will connect business and technical requirements and establish a scalable approach to managing product information throughout the lifecycle.
This is a role for someone who wants to use PLM expertise to create organisational impact. You will have the opportunity to influence systems, processes and ways of working across Jupiter Bach and play an important role in enabling the company’s continued technical and commercial development.
What you will work with
You will take responsibility for developing and governing Jupiter Bach’s product data ecosystem across the organisation.
A key part of the role will be to:
Define and develop the global PLM strategy, roadmap and future system architecture
Evaluate and develop the right PLM/PDM capabilities to support engineering and manufacturing
Establish governance for product master data, including multi-level BOM structures, metadata and documentation standards
Create clear and reliable data flows between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SharePoint and supporting engineering tools
Develop structured change and configuration management with strong traceability and revision control
Connect Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and IT around common processes and data principles
Improve data quality and support increased digitalisation and automation across the product lifecycle
Explore how emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, can support future processes and ways of working
You will work across functions and locations, combining strategic direction with the practical implementation needed to make new structures and processes work across the organisation.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with strong PLM and product data expertise who understands how engineering information connects with manufacturing and the wider business.
You are comfortable moving between systems, processes and people. You can translate business and engineering requirements into practical solutions and create alignment between stakeholders with different priorities and technical perspectives.
We expect you to bring:
Relevant experience with PLM, PDM, product data or configuration management within an industrial manufacturing or engineering environment
Experience developing or improving PLM/PDM systems, processes or data structures
Good understanding of product master data, BOM structures and lifecycle management
Understanding of manufacturing and quality processes and how engineering data supports them
Experience working across the interfaces between engineering, manufacturing and business systems
The ability to balance technical, operational and business considerations
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Professional fluency in English
A background in Industrial Engineering or a similar technical discipline is relevant, but practical experience and a strong understanding of industrial product data are equally important.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SharePoint or PLM implementation and transformation projects is an advantage.
Why Jupiter Bach?
Jupiter Bach is expanding from a strong composite manufacturing base towards broader engineering and full-system capabilities.
For an experienced product lifecycle management professional, this creates an opportunity to move closer to the customer and influence solutions much earlier in the process.
You will join an international organisation working with leading wind OEMs and have the opportunity to contribute directly to how Jupiter Bach develops its future engineering and customer solution capabilities.
